These soft Alternative Apparel three quarters-length shirts are all about Hippoglossus Stenolepis, the Pacific Halibut. This species is the largest bottom-dwelling flatfish in the North Pacific, some growing as large as 500 pounds and 40 years old. Halibut are fished for by commercial fishermen, sport fishermen, and subsistence fishermen alike. We are lucky to live in the Halibut Capital of the World (Homer, Alaska) and to longline for halibut in the fall with our family. One of the most amazing fish in the sea!
