Boats for the Holidays!

December 11, 2013

We undertook a grand project this holiday season. Since the beginning of November, Emma has been drawing the boats of people who jumped at our personalized boat apparel special. With over 20 different vessels – from seiners to set net skiffs to crabbers to gillnetters to long liners to tenders, we’re finally finished with the artwork. This is an exciting week because now we get to print the boats onto tees and hoodies for these fishing families, who will get to sport their new duds all winter, into the springtime months for boat work, and under their raingear this summer when fishing starts again. Artwork will be for sale once we’re done printing! Contact us if you’re interested. Processed with VSCOcam

Give Fish Project #1 Anniversary!

July 22, 2017

Today, we are celebrating the first anniversary of our Give Fish Project with a total of 46,000 cans of salmon already donated, 22,000 on their way to the food bank in September, and our next delivery scheduled for December! We are super proud of these numbers, and our favorite part of this accomplishment is that it is entirely customer-driven. Your individual contributions have helped start something incredibly impactful for the wellbeing of Alaskan communities. We could not feel more grateful.

We love Trade: Maersk + Salmon Sisters

June 24, 2017

Last summer, we had the opportunity to host a film crew from Maersk, a Danish shipping company that plays a major role in Alaska's seafood industry, during our fishing season. This project made us think about what it means to share the fish we catch and our designs with the world. Our passion is providing people with healthy sustainable wild seafood, and honoring our relationship with the ocean by creating good sand garments that speak to the wildness in all of us.
